Il Vela Club Tarkna ASD organizza il Campionato italiano di classe FD per l’anno 2025.
Si mantiene forte e vivido il legame storico tra VCT e Flying Dutchman, la regina delle derive, imbarcazione che ha avuto una forte diffusione nel nostro Club arrivando a contare una flotta di ben otto barche attive e naviganti, che dettero vita ad accese e combattute regate.
Per questo motivo, riportiamo a nuova vita la coppa “Fabrizio Cruciani”, legata al ricordo di un grande appassionato amante del FD e presidente emerito del Club, che verrà attribuita al miglior timoniere italiano del Campionato.
Analogamente. viene messo in palio il trofeo “Eraldo Forti”, dedicato alla memoria di un nostro caro amico, grande velista e prodiere di Flying Dutchman.
Il Campionato è la tappa italiana della Coppa Europa di Classe, per cui sono attesi numerosi equipaggi stranieri che daranno una connotazione internazionale all’evento.

Tarkna Sailing Club is organizing the Italian FD Class Championship for the year 2025.
The historical bond between VCT and Flying Dutchman, the queen of the dinghies, a boat that has had a strong diffusion in our Club arriving to count a fleet of as many as eight active and sailing boats, which gave life to heated and fought races, is kept strong and vivid.
For this reason, we are bringing back to life the “Fabrizio Cruciani” cup, linked to the memory of a great passionate FD lover and president emeritus of the Club, which will be awarded to the best Italian helmsman of the Championship.
In the same way. the “Eraldo Forti” trophy, dedicated to the memory of a dear friend of ours, a great sailor and Flying Dutchman bowman, is put up for grabs.
The Championship is the Italian leg of the European Class Cup, so many foreign crews are expected to give an international connotation to the event.
